President Dave made an announcement about a letter scam through Club Runner from the District Governor asking for $21,000. Please ignore it.
Bill Hutto made an announcement asking for 6 to 8 more people to sign up to volunteer at Folsom LIVE. Folsom LIVE is on Sept. 22. Please contact Bill to sign up.
Ryan Jantzen announced that Rotary will be helping build bridges on trails for Folsom’s Community Service Day. This will be a 2-day project on Sept. 8 and Sept. 15. He said Rotary is no longer doing shade structures. He is looking for sign ups.
Steve Miklos made an announcement about the mystery trip that will take place on Oct. 25. He is trying to get a head count, so please let him know ASAP via email if you are attending and if you will be bringing any guests. He said costumes are a must to attend. Steve also made an announcement about Community Service Day.
Bob Flautt made an announcement about Flying Samaritans passing on a ‘Thank you.’
No fines were assessed.
Bob also introduced the guest speaker Sean Smith, of the Sacramento County Sherriff’s Department. He spoke about the Sacramento Valley High-Tech Crimes Task Force, which he has been on for 12 years.
