Steve Brozosky is on a Rotoplast Mission to Myanmar to help people with facial surgeries.

Ann Hutto made an announcement for Rotary Anne’s food collection box. The boxes are for a food dive for blessings in a backpack. They deliver food on Fridays to school kids who don’t have enough food to eat on the weekends. The drive is from Aug. 10 through Aug. 31. Items to donate are listed on each box, which are around town.
 

Steve Azavito (Sorry if spelt wrong) made an announcement asking for volunteers for the 3Stands Global Break Free Run which takes place on Sept. 21.

Flautt introduced the guest speaker, Robert Allen, the Chief Medical Officer at Mercy Hospital of Folsom. Mercy opened in 1989 in Folsom, and as a whole has 175,00 employees. Folsom has 106 licensed beds. When it opened, that was bigger than we needed for Folsom, but now they lack the appropriate number of beds. Mercy Folsom is the best stroke center in the region.
