President Dave Boldt opened the meeting and led the Pledge of Allegiance. Bob Mange said a prayer.
Secretary Jim Padgett welcomed guests. He also mentioned that the club auction will be on Jan. 24 and to bring items to 901 Natoma Street or 305 Natoma Street. If you don’t donate an item or $50, you will be billed.
The club welcomed new member Dr. Sue Barrett, who has been a veterinarian for nearly 39 years. She was a Rotary Anne for 10 years. She said she is thrilled to join the club.
The club also welcomed new member Dr. Race Irby, who is a chiropractor. He has been a Folsom resident for 4 years.
Tricia Saylor announced the start of Wine & Dine planning! She needs volunteers for some more spots. Please contact her if you are interested in helping out.
Chuck Thurman announced the Rotary Anne Crab Feed is on Feb. 2 and need help with the bar for the event.

Gary Parlier introduced the evening’s speaker – Folsom High School Interact.
- Eric Yoder and Nicky Estrada helped introduce the interact club.
- The club has 165 members.
- Each member that was present discussed some of the things they’ve done throughout the past year such as:
- Working with Flying Samaritans
- Completing 900 hours of service
- Raising $7,000 with the California International Marathon
- Participating in RYLA – Rotary Youth Leadership Academy
- They discussed all the bonding and experiences from this 5-day camping trip
- Beautified their own campus during Community Service Day in September
