Happy Holidays
Christmas Party, December 13, 2018
The annual Club Christmas Party was held on Thursday, December 13, at the Folsom Community Center.
The bar was hosted by the club. Entertainment was provided by the Folsom High Jazz Choir and Jazz Band. Kate Gonzalez and dancers from the Folsom Arthur Murray Dance Studio also provided entertainment. President Dave Boldt called the meeting to order around 7:30 and Bob Mange gave the invocation. Wildwood Barbeque served a sumptuous prime rib dinner. The Jazz Band played after dinner and some of our members danced to their great music.
Second Bike Trail Project
On Saturday, December 16, several Rotarians demolished the second and longer boardwalk on the bike trail parallel to Glenn Drive. Justin Raithel was chairman of the work party and Bob Blackwell drove his excavator to remove large sections of the boardwalk. The next step is to put down new decking after the city installs the decking joists.
