President Dave Boldt opened the meeting and led the Pledge of Allegiance. He called on Bob Mutchler to lead a song. Bob Mange said a prayer
Mike Smith made an announcement about the Rise August Hunger. He left a flyer on all the tables. For more information, call or email him.
Bill Hutto made an announcement that we raised a little more than $800 from TAP Folsom.
Rob Ross assessed fines.
Samantha Davidson was presented her blue badge by Rob Ross.
Rob Ross brought up Chuck Thompson to perform a joke in what he calls inappropriate joke night.
Terry Cecchi introduced the guest speaker, Pam Jones, who is the Director of the City of Folsom Community Development Department.
Pam made a presentation on the history and background of the south of Highway 50 project, also known as the Folsom Plan Area. Pam has more than 25 years of experience in her field. She worked for the city many years ago and came back as the department director in September of 2017.
Highlights:
The Folsom Plan Area is one of six in the City of Folsom.
The Folsom Plan Area is the same acreage as all other six plan areas.
The Folsom Pan Area was approved in 2011.
Engineering and infrastructure improvements have been a $250 million investment to date
Currently four neighborhoods are under construction in the Folsom Plan Area.
Currently there are 17 more neighborhoods in the planning stages.
Mangini Ranch will is the first neighborhood to be completed with houses almost finished. Residents will be able to move in by the end of this year.
