Meeting Notes from April 18, 2019
 
President Dave Boldt opened the meeting and led the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a song. Al Stehli said a prayer.
 
Jim Padgett welcomed guests.
 
Monika Reyes made an announcement about a FLYP event on April 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. It will be a non-profit showcase and she needs some leaders in the club to speak about what Rotary does at the event.
Big Day of Giving is in May and you can pre-schedule donations. We are really trying to boost this on social media and non-club members to donate!!
Wine and Dine tickets have been mailed out.
 
Dave announced the Rotary Club of Folsom Lake’s annual fundraiser – Bet on Rotary which is from 6 p.m.-10:30 p.m. on April 26 at the Empire Ranch Golf Club. Admission is $50 and tickets can be purchased through the event page. Go to facebook.com/FolsomLakeRotary to find the event page.

Al Stehli has been in Rotary for 49 years.
 
 
Terry Cecchi introduced the evening’s speaker, Lisa Tutor, the Executive Director of Twin Lakes Food Bank. She discussed what the food bank does, who they serve and different programs they have such as Pantry on Wheels, Angels on Wheels and an Organic Garden.
