President Paul Bonaventure announced that Colnn and Erin Miguelgorry's daughter was born on March 6.  Her name is Ayla Sage and she weighed 7.27 pounds and was 20.5 inches long.

 

President Paul also announced that Dave Boldt graduated from PETS (President Elect Training Seminar) last weekend and is ready to be President.

President Paul explained why we have a club auction.  In addition to having a fun evening, the money raised goes to international projects and club administration costs.  One of the international projects being funded (with other District 5180 clubs) is a water project in Nigeria.

Rob Ross levied fines.  He also congratulated Rosario Rodriguez as she was awarded Woman of the Year at the Sacramento State Capital by Assemblyman Kevin Kiley for District 6.

 

Bob Flautt introduced our speaker, James Woodward.  Mr. Woodward talked about dealing with work place violence.

 

President Paul thanked Mr. Woodward by presenting a box of Snook's Chocolates to him.
