President Dave introduced DG Jack who said at the outset that his presentation is unconventional. He said that, rather than him create a theme for the District, he adopted the Rotary International President's theme, "Be the Inspiration". His presentation was about Rotary's vision and strategic plan. The major focus of the strategic plan is increasing membership. After the presentation, DG Jack was interrogated by Paul Bonaventure.
