The meeting of June 23 was the demotion of President Steve Brozosky.  President Steve arrived at the meeting riding in the front of a cargo bike driven by Ryan Jantzen accompanied by some of our members cycling with him.   One of the cyclists was District Governor Desiree Wilson. 

 

 

The meeting was held at the Folsom Community Center and started at 6 pm with cocktails.  President Steve and the cyclists arrived about 6:30. 

 

Past President Monika Reyes opened the meeting sometime after the cyclists arrived and invited each table to go through the buffet line.  Dinner was provided by Wildwood BarBQ. 

 

Monika turned the meeting over to President Steve who thanked his board of directors and told them that their gifts are on a cargo ship somewhere in the Pacific and he has no idea when they will be here because the answer to the question about arrival is always "about 3 weeks".  Each board member will receive a Monopoly game based on the clubs in Rotary District 5180.  Needless to say, Jail is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Folsom.

 

President Steve inducted our newest member, Svetlana Osokina.

 

President Steve also presented Kate Gonzales, Justin Raithel, Richelle Brooks, and Dan Nitz with Paul Harris Fellow recognition.

 

President Steve turned the microphone back to Past President Monika.  Monika thanked Christy Watrous, Paul Bonaventure, and Kate Gonzales for their assistance in putting on the demotion.  She gave out the following awards:

The last fun event of the evening was charades.  There were four teams and the prize for the winning team was a dinner put on by the Presidents, past and current.  The teams placing first through fourth were
