We'll have folks demoing, cutting wood and reassembling so there will be plenty of need for breaks and room to spread out. Please bring any of the following you are willing to: power drills, work gloves, crow bars, sawzalls, chop saws and a-frames. Recommend folks wear long pants and boots if you can. |

To be rescheduled... We will be holding a First Responder BBQ at the Lew Howard Park Pavilion (right past the Rotary Clubhouse). This will replace our regular meeting. To accomodate the police and fire personnel, we are having this as a drop in when you can between 5pm and 8pm. We would like as many members at this event, your significant others, kids, and even friends and neighbors. There is a normal meal charge for Rotarians and their significant others but all others are free. Pitmaster Paul Bonaventure will be BBQing the tri-tip and chicken (Santa Maria Style BBQ), and there will be plenty of the fixins! Let us show our appreciation to Folsom's First Responders and get as many people at this event as we can! You only need to signup for yourself and your signficant other. If you will be bringing 5 or more others (kids, grandkids, friends, neighbors, etc.), please email the number you will be bringing to president Steve so that we can get a more accurate headcount for the food. We need to order the food by the end of August so please signup ASAP. |

The Folsom Rotary Foundation is excited to announce: An Evening with Brian Shul: SR-71 SPY PILOT, Flying the World’s Fastest Jet Hear an astounding story of triumph over tragedy.
Severely burned in a fiery crash in the jungles of Vietnam, Brian Shul was told he would never fly again. Enduring the pain of fifteen major surgeries and a year in military hospitals, he fought his way back into the skies to become a TOPGUN Flight Instructor.
His amazing determination led to his selection as a spy pilot for the Top Secret SR-71, the fastest, highest flying jet in the world.
Now a highly acclaimed author, photographer and motivational speaker, Brian’s remarkable story of faith-based fearlessness has inspired millions with its universal appeal.
Coupled with a stunning multimedia presentation, this is the one show every group labels as “The Best We’ve Ever Seen."
This event benefits the Wounded Warrior Project as well as the Folsom Rotary Foundation.

It is almost time for us to distribute the dictionaries to every third grader in Folsom. First we have to put the Rotary stickers in each dictionary. So this Wednesday, January 12, 5:30pm, at Granite School (909 Morman St, Folsom) we will have our annual dictionary labeling party. The more people we have, the faster it will go. We need your help! Pizza will be served. |
