Dr. Terri Daniels has worked in the field of education for 38 years. She started her educational journey as an early childhood educator teaching preschool, pre-K, and Kindergarten for 17 years before going back to get her Single Subject credential in History with a supplement in English and Health Education and an Educational Specialist Mild/Moderate credential where she used these credentials to teach high school Special Education, World History, U.S. History, Government/Economics and held the title of Reading Specialist in the district. For the past 15 years Dr. Daniels has worked in administration as an assistant principal, principal, and principal superintendent. Currently she is the principal at Folsom Middle School. Dr. Daniels also serves as ACSA (Association of California School Administrators) secondary state coordinator to NASSP (National Association of Secondary School Principals). |

30th Annual Dave West Partnerships for Tomorrow Youth Leadership ConferenceMentors needed! As a mentor, you will participate in the various discussions and activities alongside the students in your assigned group. Being a mentor does not require any special skills or knowledge -- your life experiences and willingness to share it with the students and participate in the group discussions/activities is all that is needed. Regardless of your vocation, or whether you are currently in the work force or retired, your participation is needed and appreciated, and the conference will benefit by your participation!
The conference will be on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Lakeside Church in Folsom. It is anticipated the timeframe will be from 8:15 am - 3:00pm, but there may be slight changes as we continue to plan the event. A continental breakfast and a "working lunch" will be provided. This is a wonderful opportunity to interact with some of the best and brightest students Folsom has to offer and to have a positive impact on those who will be leading our great country in future years.

By educating the community on the facts about mental illness, we can eliminate the barriers people living with mental illness experience and provide a deeper understanding about mental health issues in general. |

She will share about trauma therapy and Brainspotting, a modality that has been proven to be effective at getting to the root of deep underlying trauma. |
