A Touch of Understanding (ATOU) provides disability awareness programs designed to educate a new generation to understand the challenges associated with disabilities and to accept and respect all individuals. Shanna Lowder brings over 20 years of experience across the corporate, public affairs, and non-profit sectors. In 2024, Shanna became a consultant for A Touch of Understanding, supporting their volunteer outreach efforts and helping to increase brand awareness. |

30th Annual Dave West Partnerships for Tomorrow Youth Leadership ConferenceMentors needed! As a mentor, you will participate in the various discussions and activities alongside the students in your assigned group. Being a mentor does not require any special skills or knowledge -- your life experiences and willingness to share it with the students and participate in the group discussions/activities is all that is needed. Regardless of your vocation, or whether you are currently in the work force or retired, your participation is needed and appreciated, and the conference will benefit by your participation!
The conference will be on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Lakeside Church in Folsom. It is anticipated the timeframe will be from 8:15 am - 3:00pm, but there may be slight changes as we continue to plan the event. A continental breakfast and a "working lunch" will be provided. This is a wonderful opportunity to interact with some of the best and brightest students Folsom has to offer and to have a positive impact on those who will be leading our great country in future years.

Charges: Only $50 per person Only 56 seats on the bus and first come first served. The mystery trip has typically been sold out in the past years so act fast!!
