Meeting Notes from January 30, 2019
President Bob Flautt opened the meeting by leading the Pledge of Allegiance and leading us in a patriotic song. Bob Mange gave the Invocation.
Jim Padgett announced that the club auction netted about $6,000.
Kate Gonzales was thanked for her donation of $1410 to the Folsom Rotary Foundation from Arthur Murray Dance Studio.
Bob and Joe Hoffman were thanked for buying the bar. They bought the bar in celebration of their many years in business in Folsom.
Scott Moore asked for volunteers to work the bar at the Rotary Annes Crab Feed on Saturday, February 1.
Garry Parlier reported that the dictionary labeling was completed in about 22 minutes thanks to 12 Folsom High Interact students, 3 Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Historic Folsom, and 15 members from our club.
Rachel Orlino has resigned from the club.
Tonight's meeting was a Club Assembly. President Bob put a paper listing three items for discussion on each table.
The discussion items were:
1. Club billing policy. Should the club have a meal option billing plan? Treasurer Doug Zezoff led a discussion on this item.
2. Catering discussion was lead by President Bob.
3. Fundraising discussion was lead by President Nominee Monika Reyes. Monika said that Christie Watrous will chair the Wine and Dine this year.
Each of the discussion leaders will take comments to the next Board Meeting.
