The meeting was held at the Granite Grammar School which was built in 1915.  The school was sold in 2021 to FEDCorp and is now being used for startup companies and entrepreneurs to "launch" new businesses.  President Ryan called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance and Bob Mange gave the Invocation.

 

Secretary Jim Padgett introduced visiting Rotarians and guests.  His introductions included past members Tom Parker and Dave Doherty.  Our outbound Rotary Youth Exchange student, Tristen Normoyle, who is going to Italy in about a month was also interduced.

 

Phil Scott, who is the primary mover making things happen for the start-ups, had his tie cut off by Colin Miguelgorry, all in fun.  After all, we don't "allow" ties at the Rotary Club of Folsom meetings.

 

 

Past President Steve Brozosky presented a Paul Harris Fellow +6 pin to Dan Nitz.

 

 

Joe Gagliardi introduced the program by explaining that the Granite School is an incubator for new businesses to get off the ground.  Phil Scott talked about the businesses being developed at Granite School and then we heard from representatives of the businesses.  We heard from a dozen speakers including Aiden's presentation from Ireland where the time was 4:30 am.  It was a very interesting program and below are some photos from the evening.
