President Steve Brozosky opened the meeting at 7 pm by leading the pledge of allegiance.  Bob Mange gave the invocation.

 

Secretary Jim Padgett introduced visiting Rotarians and guests.

 

President Steve thanked Steve Petkovich and his crew for laying the concrete for the Fitness Zone Project at Lembi Park.  President Steve said that they did all the work and the Rotarians that came to help for the most part watched.

 

The club will install holiday lights on the Bear Exhibit at the Folsom Zoo on November 6 from 9 am until noon.

 

The Veterans Day Parade will be on November 11.

 

President Steve and Rotary Foundation Chair Sue Barrett presented a Paul Harris Fellow +3 pin to Chuck Thompson and a Paul Harris Fellow to Rik Bennett.  Chuck received his Paul Harris pin from President Steve.

 

 

Rik received his Paul Harris Fellow from Sue.

 

 

Andrew Vierra introduced our guest speaker, Dr. Andrea Becker, associate professor at Sacramento State and a sports psychology coach.  Dr. Becker talked about sports mental health.  President Steve presented a Rotary chocolate from Snook's Candies to Dr. Becker.
