Secretary Jim Padgett introduced guests and visiting Rotarians.

Chris Janzen from the Rotary Club of Roseville was at our club with a special bourbon for members to sample and purchase. The sale of the bourbon is raising money to support the  District Human Trafficking Project and to help foster kids.

President Ramesh thanked Scott Bailey and Bill Hutto for the fantastic float in the Veterans Day Parade. Although it rained during the parade, the turnout of Rotarians from the three Folsom Rotary clubs and Interact Students from both high schools was fantastic.

Henry Sundermier asked for volunteers to tend bar at the Holiday Festival on November 16 for HART (Homeless Assistance Resource Team). Also on Saturday, November 16, the club will be stringing holiday lights at the Folsom Zoo in the morning for Wild Nights and Holiday Lights at the zoo. Henry thanked John Messner for all the hours John spent in his garage working on Santa's Christmas Cottage.

President Ramesh reminded the members that our November 21 meeting will be a Magical Night. All spouses, partners, significant others, and Rotary Annes are invited to join us. The bar will be purchased by the club and dinner for 1 guest per member will also be purchased by the club. Please let Jim Padgett know if you are bringing a guest.

President Ramesh talked about Paul Harris Fellow recognition. An individual is recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow when $1,000 is donated to the Rotary Foundation. Each $1,000 donation to the Rotary Foundation after the first $1,000 donation is recognized by a Paul Harris pin designating the number of donations by an individual. Len Hundshamer received a Paul Harris Fellow recognition and Scott Bailey received a Paul Harris Fellow +1 pin.
