Folsom High School and Vista del Lago Interact Club student leaders took over the meeting of April 10.

 

The meeting was opened by President Austin Hoekstra (Vista) and Tristan Holliday (FHS) at 7 pm. The Presidents led the Pledge of Allegiance and Bob Mange gave the Invocation.

Bob Mange, filling in for Secretary Jim Padgett who was vacationing in Hawaii, introduced guests and visiting Rotarians. Austin's grandma Gay Pepin came to support. Becky Blackwell came to support featured Rotarian Bobby and the Blackwells bought the bar as well.

 

President Ramesh announced that our club team did very well in 2025 Dragon Boat Race festival and came in 3rd overall out of 10 teams and it was a photo finish for 2nd and 3rd place. Team also raised $7,775 which is 134% above the goal.

 

 

President Ramesh reminded everyone about May 15 Mystery Trip and May 29 5th Thursday River Cats baseball outing registrations. Need the final registrations soon to finalize plans. So please register if you want to join the fun.

 

Paul Bonaventure levied fines.

 

For the main program, President Austin and President Tristan presented the Interact Officers from both the schools. They also talked about various Interact club activities conducted throughout the year.
