Meeting Notes from July 9, 2020
President Monika Reyes called the first meeting of the 2020/2021 Rotary year to order at 7:14 pm. Due to Covid-19, this was another ZOOM meeting with 31 participants. The RI President's banner hung behind President Monika. She announced that the Folsom Rotary Clubhouse will be closed at least through July.
President Monika's slides recognized members who have a birthday in July, an anniversary in July, or were inducted into our club in July. She also had a slide called "Tell Me Something Good" which included photos of Colnn Miguelgorry and his new daughter, Elowyn Rain. There were also slides of "What to do if You Are Stressed" or "Just Blow Stuff Up". She thanked all the volunteers who worked at the Fireworks Booth for a very successful fund-raiser.
Steve Sprague talked about fines and all agreed that he should start assessing fines again. Perhaps the Secretary can include them on monthly invoices. If you have a fine, send it to Steve via text, email, or phone. LET'S HAVE FUN!
The first board meeting of this Rotary year will be on Tuesday, July 21st at 6:30 pm. The next Club ZOOM meeting will be on Thursday, July 23 at 7:00 pm.
