John Baciocco talked about the Oktoberfest coming up on October 26. He asked the members to get out and sell tickets and asked members to also sell sponsorships. He suggested members sell tickets to non-Rotarians so we will have butts in seats that will bid on silent auction items.

President Scott reminded the members about the 5th Thursday Party this month, October 30, at the Robert H. Miller III Folsom Rotary Clubhouse.

Henry Sundermier shared the following slide of projects that we have on the calendar for the rest of 2025. He also asked that younger members try to join us at the work parties.

President Scott thanked the members and their spouses for working at the Renaissance Faire.

Brian Martell levied fines.

Bill Hutto introduced our speaker, Andrew Bias.

Andrew spoke about sparks in his life and asked us to count the number of sparks he includes in his talk. He and his program at Folsom High have received Community Sparks from Harbor Freight Tools for Schools, Siemens, Showline Engineering, Gene Haas Foundation (Haas Automation), and the Rotary Club of Folsom. Andrew received a $419 teacher grant from our club back in 2019 for Introduction to Welding.
