The Hoffmans showed slides of the club bell traveling around the Folsom area. Above is President Ryan opening a box with the bell inside. Happy days, the bell is back!
President Ryan "purchased" a mystery box. As shown in the photo, it is a third grade dictionary that he can use when making slides so as not to make spelling errors.
President Michael Arthur, Rotary Club of Historic Folsom, purchased a 49er box that included golf balls and a XXXL 49er sweater. He asked the Hoffmans to auction off the sweater, but no takers.
If you missed the meeting, you missed some great fun and comaraderie.
Third Grade Dictionary Distribution
Most of this years dictionary distribution took place between December 5 and December 14. There are three schools that will receive their dictionaries in January. Rich Pepin led the project and did a fantastic job getting the dictionaries labeled and distributed. Our club and the Rotary Club of Historic Folsom distributed 1,050 dictionaries to third graders this year. Below is a photo of the distribution at Carl Sundahl School.
