Meeting Notes from February 3, 2022
 
President Steve Brozosky opened the meeting at 7 pm by leading the Pledge of Allegiance.  Bob Mange gave the Invocation.
 
Secretary Jim Padgett introduced our guest.  Thanks to Jim for buying the bar.  Jim said he has been in business for 40 years and has been a member of our club for 40 years.  He also said that he married Michelle on February 2, 2022.  Congratulations Jim and Michelle.
 
Richelle Brooks said that she was working with President Steve on a video that can accompany the dictionary distribution to third graders as we can't distribute the dictionaries ourselves again this year due to COVID.
 
As a reminder, the Partnerships for Tomorrow is on March 15 at Lakeside Church from 7:45 am to 3:00 pm.  Mentors are still needed, particularly our younger members.  If you haven't signed up, contact Rich Rider or Richelle Brooks.  
 
Monika Reyes announced that she and some of our women members will join a Habitat for Humanity Sacramento Women Build on March 26.  She asked for our male members to donate to Habitat for Humanity as the women need to raise money for the organization.
 
Steve Sprague levied fines.
 
Jim Ortega introduced our speaker, Howard Cadenhead, Principal of Folsom High School and Folsom Lake High School.

Lew Howard Park Project
 
The roof over the pavilion at Lew Howard Park was completed on Saturday, January 29.  Here are photos of our members at work along with Trisha Saylor's grandsons.
