Public Safety Awards Luncheon
The First Annual Public Safety Awards Luncheon was held on Thursday, September 1 at the Folsom Community Center. The luncheon was hosted by the Rotary Club of Folsom and the Sierra Law Enforcement Chaplaincy.
The Presentation of Colors was provided by the Folsom Police Department Honor Guard.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by President Ryan Jantzen.
The Invocation was given by Chaplain/Pastor Ron Perry.
A buffet lunch was provided by Rosario Rodriquez, owner of Sutter Street Taqueria.
After lunch, President Ryan opened the program with Welcoming Remarks.
Fire Chief Ken Cusano presented the fire awards to the following Fire Department personnel:
- Commitment to Excellence Award to
- Battalion Chief Eric Lefkove
- Assistant Chief Mark Piacentini
- Battalion Chief Clint Madden
- Battalion Chief Matt McGee
- Kim Ruggles, Professional Staff Member of the Year
- Roy Griffin, Supervisor of the Year
- Stephen Anderson, Firefighter of the Year
Police Chief Rick Hillman presented the police awards to the following Police Department personnel:
- Tracie Callahan, Professional Staff Member of the Year
- Bryn Kehm, Dispatcher of the Year
- Lt. Lou Wright, Supervisor of the Year
- Joseph Howard, Police Officer of the Year
President Ryan also presented Citizen watches to Stephen Anderson and Joseph Howard. The watches were provided by Adrian Blanco Jewelry.
President Ryan provided Closing Remarks.
All the fire and police personnel who were honored at today's luncheon.
