President Bob thanked Candy Miller for buying the bar honoring her late husband Bob's 75 birthday on January 7. Bob joined our club in 1986 and was a very active member until he passed away in 2011. As President Bob reminded us, "In 2016, The Folsom Rotary Clubhouse was renamed the Robert H. Miller III Rotary Clubhouse in honor of Bob Miller. Bob was Mr. Rotary to our club, held several offices including Club President, and was a mentor to many Club Members (particularly club presidents) over the years." Bob, thanks for buying the bar.
Christie Watrous talked to the club about the upcoming Folsom Rotary Anne 33rd Annual Crab Feed on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the Folsom Community Center, 52 Natoma Street, Folsom. The event starts at 5 pm with a No Host Bar with dinner to be served at 6 pm. There will be a raffle, a live auction, and dancing following dinner. Live music will be performed by Take Out Band. Tickets are $50 and Christie will be at the next couple of meetings selling tickets. Folsom Rotarians will be serving at the bar with the proceeds from the bar to go to the Folsom Rotary Foundation. Join your fellow Rotarians supporting this event and wear your rodeo finest.

The mission of Cal Guard is "National Guard community-based programs that lead, train and mentor at-risk youth so that they may become productive citizens in America’s future. We serve California communities and families which entrust students to our care by delivering national level, high quality educational support programs, in partnership with the educational community, within a military/academic-structured environment."
