Past President Monika Reyes opened the meeting at 7 pm by leading the Pledge of Allegiance followed by the club singing "My Country Tis of Thee".  Bob Mange gave the Invocation.

 

Secretary Jim Padgett introduced guests.

 

Monika reminded the members of no meeting on November 25 for Thanksgiving.  She invited members to join her for a "Paddle with the Past President" on the 25th at 9 am.

 

Monika also talked about the Club Christmas Party which will be on December 16 at the Folsom Community Center.  It will be a pajama party including holiday karaoke.  She asked for volunteers to provide desserts.

 

The accessible equipment is installed at Lembi Park.  Look for the official ribbon cutting.

 

Monika explained how Paul Harris recognition points can be used to present a Paul Harris Fellow to another individual.

 

Steve Sprague levied fines.

 

Monika thanked Chuck and Conni Thompson for their work in bringing the Brian Shul Fund-raiser to the Harris Center on Saturday, November 27.

 

Chuck Thompson introduced our speaker Jeremiah Pauley with the Wounded Warrior Project.  Jeremiah introduced his two guests.  He gave a presentation of how the Wounded Warrior Project helped him and talked about the work they do with wounded veterans.

 

Monika presented the chocolate Rotary wheel from Snook's to Jeremiah.

 

Chuck presented a large format check for $10,000 for Wounded Warrior project.  The real check will be presented after the Brian Shul event.
