Meeting Notes from June 2, 2022
President Steve Brozosky opened the meeting at 7 pm by leading the Pledge of Allegiance. The club sang the song "My Country Tis of Thee" impromptu style. Bob Mange gave the Invocation.
Bill Hutto and Scott Bailey were elected to the Folsom Rotary Foundation Board of Directors for a three year term. Jerry Avila will take over the Director position from Rosario Rodriguez for one year.
Fireworks sales will be June 28 to July 4. There are still several shifts available. If you haven't signed up for our biggest fundraiser, contact Paul Bonaventure and work at least one shift.
President Steve played a video on the new area of focus for the R0tary Foundation, Protecting The Environment.
Bill Hutto passed around sign-up sheets to work in the cantina at the Folsom Rodeo on July 1, 2, and 3.
Ken Stuart introduced our guest speaker, Brandon Rose, SMUD Board President. Brandon's presentation was on SMUD's 2030 Zero Carbon Plan.
President Steve presented a Snook's chocolate Rotary wheel to Brandon for his presention.
